PRECISION HOTWIRE ANEMOMETER TA-5

The TA-5 measures accurately air velocity, air volume and temperature with all results being displayed on a hi-contrast 28mm LCD display with back light. The sensing element is a thermistor bead which is electrically maintained at 120oC. The electrical current needed to maintain this temperature whilst air is passing over the thermistor bead is calculated displayed as velocity. An air temperature compensating thermistor bead is incorporated into the probe head which is effective up to 80oC.

The TA-5 operates in twin modes, real time and recall. In real time, air velocity and temperature are displayed simultaneously. Three separate velocity ranges in a single meter allows even greater resolution. Both imperial or metric readings can be selected at the touch of a button and automatic zeroing ensures accurate readings are maintained with minimal zero drift. Up to 99 individual velocity and temperature readings may be simultaneously memorised, stores and displayed together with their average, minimum and maximum values.

Each instrument is supplied complete with a probe, carry case with neck strap and comprehensive instructions. Requires 1 x PP3 Battery.
