Rollers for Many Industries Longs produces a comprehensive range of products to cover a wide range of industries and the production of these is done to the strictest quality control and conforms to BS5750 and ISO9002. Rollers can be manufactured in one of four methods: sleeved, wrapped, moulded and cast polythurethane rollers.

Engineering Our engineering department manufactures roller shafts using CNC equipment to cater for high volume batches or alternatively we can manufacture small quantity prototype and R&D work. Longs will also undertake refurbishment work on worn and damaged rollers. Recovering the roller and replacing the damaged journal ends is often a cost effective way of servicing a unit.

Moulded Components Longs can provide high quality moulded products, using tooling designed and manufactured in house. This has the added benefit of being able to meet tight tolerances not generally associated with the manufacture of mechanical rubber.	Polyurethane Products Longs produce a range of polyurethane rollers from 30º to 100º shore hardness which are moulded and precision ground, Colour can be added to denote hardness and grades if required.
